Visual art '‘Causa-Efecto’' by Ana Soler

Visual art ‘Causa-Efecto’ by Ana Soler freezes tennis balls in the mid-air.
It is certainly amazing to see the work that Spanish visual artist Ana Soler names as Causa-Efecto (Cause & Effect) have accomplished using 2,000 tennis balls. The balls are hung throughout the Mustang Art Gallery in Alicante, Spain as though they’re bouncing all over. It must have taken oodles of time and imagination to finish such a miraculous work

For this Modernistic complex from the 50's situated in the heart of the city, SAQ is asked to develop a master plan that restores the site's identity and in so doing regains a significant role in Brussels.

Apart from developing an organizational scenario for the new program, the key position and scale of the site demand determined gestures to address the different problems concerning the accessibility and the appeal of the public plazas on the site.

Andy Hemingway Light Painting - photography.

When a photorapher masterfully blends two of our prime passions, light graffiti and abandoned place,   the result is nothing but stunning. Photographer Andy Hemingway has released a photo series of light painting in an abandoned parking garage in Houston, TX.  Ribbons of light flutter through empty, open spaces, weaving luminescent floating images that stand out against the cold appearance of the abandoned garage.  With a flashlight and some special tools, Hemingway can frame his shot on a tripod, set a long exposure and dance through the shot with his lights in hand.  The result is what you see below, a great collection of light painting photography.

Andy Hemingway Light Painting II, Hemingway's new work (in red colours) is  more vivid and assertive than his prior works, clearly reflected in the images below.  Noticeable in the new set is the inclusion of subjects in action and the use of off-camera flash.
