The Technology School of Guelmim_Morocco.
Designed by the architect trio, Saad El Kabbaj, Driss Kettani & Mohamed
Amine Siana; the minimal and modern Technology School of Guelmin in Morocco
consists of spaces such as workshops, a library, laboratories,
administrative buildings and much more. This school is a veritable
display of modern African infrastructure while maintaining traditional Moroccan
flair to create a view that is nothing short of spectacular!
Although modern in style, the school aesthetically pulls on traditional
North African design elements that have been around for centuries. The
designers skillfully played with orientations, projections, openness and
lighting to create an environment both suitable for learning as well as
meditating. They say a rested mind can improve productivity. Let’s hope its
pensive spaces will help enlighten the innovators of tomorrow._source:artiflect |
